What types of dental care for dogs do you offer at your clinic?
We offer a large selection of dental diets and treats, as well as water additives and toothpaste. We also offer demonstrations and tips to help you get started with brushing your dog or cat’s teeth. In addition, we perform a complete comprehensive oral examination and dental prophy (scale and polish) under general anesthesia. We are fully equipped with ultrasonic scaling, polishing and digital dental x-rays, which allows us to fully examine your pet’s teeth above and below the gumline.
How often should you brush your dog’s teeth?
Ideally, every animal should have their teeth brushed once a day, but even several times a week is better than nothing! Here at Acadia, we can give you tips on how to get started and make this a more enjoyable experience for your pet.
