Emily Gallan
Registered Veterinary Technician
My name is Emily, and I am a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) here at Acadia Veterinary Hospital. I graduated from Oulton College in 2021 with a degree in Veterinary Technology. Before that, I earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of New Brunswick. My passion for veterinary medicine stems from a lifelong love of animals and a desire to help every creature in need.
The most rewarding part of my job is helping sick pets recover and seeing the joy on their owners’ faces. Knowing that I have made a positive difference in their lives motivates me to give my best every day. Additionally, I enjoy surgery and laboratory work because it allows me to practice a diverse skill set and continually learn and grow.
When I’m not at work, I love embarking on road trips and exploring new places throughout New Brunswick and the Atlantic provinces. At home, I am the proud pet parent of two wonderful cats, Sebastion (pictured) and Gigi.
