Registered Veterinary Technician
I am Marie-Josee Fougere, a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) fluent in both French and English. I completed my education at Oulton College in the Veterinary Technician program.
My decision to enter the veterinary field stems from a lifelong love for animals. I have always wanted a career where I could actively care for animals and contribute to their well-being.
Within veterinary medicine, I am particularly drawn to lab work and the care of exotic animals, finding these areas both challenging and rewarding.
What I find most fulfilling about my job is the opportunity to care for pets and ensure their health and happiness. Making clients happy through excellent veterinary care is also a source of great satisfaction for me.
Outside of work, I have a passion for breeding snakes and participating in snake shows. I also enjoy spending time reading books to unwind and broaden my horizons.
At home, I am fortunate to share my life with four cats and a Siberian Husky, each adding their own joy and companionship to my days.
